Trigonometry Petals

I have been studying for my upcoming calculus test and I needed a break. We have been investigating polar coordinates [r, theta] and I decided to put some of my newly acquired knowledge to use. I am using a variable r based off of a 360 degree rotation and then translating to rectangular coordinates. The result is much more interesting than my hand drawn graphs for class.. I think I will continue to investigate this approach in more depth when time permits.

Staying Busy

This month I begin the process of building tracks for the new album. This will be a new way of writing as I intend to move these tracks into a performance based setup right alongside the studio recordings. I am excited to see where this process will lead. Next up is meeting with a vocalist that suits the new music’s direction an building a new sample library. Field recordings will also come into play here.Expect some different approaches ……

After much time in the studio this weekend I finished the God Sim remix. I learned several techniques on this one.I will post this up when we get our space upgrade going.

I have been mucking around in the world of shaders lately. I’m still learning the basics at this point but I am hoping to have some visually appealing images to share eventually. In the meantime, enjoy the shiny, black jellybean.

I am currently working on a remix for the track “God Sim”. It is to part of the first release due out on Brutal Beat records later this Fall. A full length recording is set for January. Live shows are being planned for early next year. More news on the way!
